Pay off CC with another CC?

Hi
Just looking for some advise please.
My cc 0% has ended so I applied for another cc. I had an email saying I hadn't been accepted (Which I presumed was because I know only work very little hours). Anyway, 3 or so days later hubby then applied for one for me to transfer over (we pool our money etc anyway). He was accepted straightaway. Then a few days later I receive a cc in the post. So the balance has been paid to my old card twice and I'm now in credit. (I'm obviously a little annoyed as we have 2 transfer fees too!) I want to pay off one of the new cards with the balance of old ones - how do I go about doing this please? Not sure if i can just pay it straight from the card. I don't really want to balance transfer as it will incur another fee...
Sorry for the ramble!

are both the new cards 0% BTs?
if so there is no particular reason to pay these off in haste as you have already paid the 3% fee?

in any event do nothing for a while in case your old CC reverses one of the transfers as usually CCs don't like being in credit

    either
-contact you old CC and ask them to send you the money
-or just spend on the old card for normal spednign and carefully save the equivalent to pay off the new card

    Hi Clapton,
    Thank you for kind reply.
I never thought of using it for normal spending. The money has already been credited and the money is technically just sat there!
The new cards are both 0%. I think I will just request money from the old card.
    Thanks again.

If you request the money from the old card it may be classed as a cash advance and a fee applied, so check carefully before you ask.

Did you ask for the transfer to be done twice? It doesn't say so in your post. If the new card issuer has accidentally duplicated it, get them to sort it out, not you.
