Value Traditional Apex Shed 6ftx4ft
delivered today and proberly the worst item i have ever bought.
it has very poor quality wood which is held on by staples yes staples,
with knots and split bits all over it, they wont accept it back as they say i accepted it on delivery, huh.
i had a chippy look at it today and he said the mdf flooring and roof will absorb water and go mushy within a few weeks. and the quality of the item is so bad he would not attempt to put it up.
i have wrote to them saying that its unfit for purpose and i have rejected it, and have given them 7 days to arrange collection.
or i do a chargeback.
beware wilkos sheds are very very bad
staples steel staples holding the featherboard on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If so, you are covered by Distance Selling Regulations.
Indeed, their T&Cs are quite clear about this...Your Statutory Rights As a consumer, there are certain terms implied into your contract with us, which we cannot exclude or limit .You can also be assured that under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased by phone or online within 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please contact us then look after the goods whilst we arrange to collect them from you.
There is a link to the OFT's guide to the DSRs in the thread entitled...
READ ME FIRST PLEASE . . . Useful links, Resources and FAQs
You'll find in there that they have to refund all monies paid, including delivery charges.
But you may have to pay the cost of returning the thing if that is in their T&Cs.
Is this the shed?
I have to say the word value in the title would've worried me.0 -
I had a shed when I was younger, it was great - every man should have one
However I would not buy one these days, for what I could afford - they are rubbish in comparison.
If I ever get a garden where I can have another shed I think I would rather build my own with real wood, not this discarded pallet stuff that they seem to be made out of these days.
Good luck with returning it, maybe if its only for gardening storage one of the plastic ones may last longer.0
