Error code 66A

Hello techie peeps,
I am looking for some advice please. My computer had been installing updates every night for the past month now which I found unusual. I have got as far as locating my windows updating program and had found my updates have failed all this time.

This is the same message I get for all the failed updates

This is as far as I got as I dont know what to do or how to correct this. Can any one help?

Sorry, I have tried to do the repair but I get a message which says that my repair has failed because another installation process was running. But I have no other windows open or had anything running and I have retried the repair quite a few times already.
I did read somewhere to uninstall this program, but is this safe to do so and where would I find the program to reinstall from?
Any help appreciated, thanks.

Could be worth checking windows updates to see if there are any .net framework files

You can uninstall .net framework, you may have a number of versions and all are available to download. If you run the PC without any versions, anything which needs .net framework will let you know. ATI graphic cards need .net framework. After you install any version, check with windows update for any updates
