Dark upvc - what colour wooden floor?

Hi,
Have dark (rosewood) upvc in my new house (already in and new so not replacing). I am going to have wooden floors put in the hall and kitchen and can't decide what colour floor to choose. The walls are going to be white.
I like walnut, dark woods, but worried it will be too dark or show dents / scratches more easily.
Any ideas?

Thanks for that, never thought about it showing up the dust more so than a lighter colour. Just not sure if a light colour will go with the dark upvc!0
