Egg card

Hi all,
Just wondering if I'm in the minority to still have an egg card as a mule. I've read all the stuff on here about changes to T&Cs etc, but have just done another balance transfer last week, used egg card, no problems and no charges.

Have I just escaped the changes, or is it because I've had it for so long that the changes in T&Cs don't apply?

It's neither. It's probably that you, along with many other stoozers, just got lucky.

However, whether that 'luck' will continue, now that the sale to Barclaycard has completed (as of last Friday 29th April), remains to be seen.

Don't most cards you are transferring the money to, charge 2-3% balance transfer now, negating any benefit?

Why BT out of egg - just ask for the positive balance to be transferred via BACs! Thats what Ive always done

As did I, but since they introduced the 'no positive balance' clause I'd guess an online BT request avoids the need for an awkward conversation with a CSA...especially if the transfer is nudging 5 figures!

It's certainly the way I plan to make them...should I manage to get a profitable muling opportunity!
