Thank's for posting this. I had been ignoring it, as I think the plan had originally been for 5 days and with no breakfast or lunch included and figured I could do better. That may not have been Sains tho.
Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

That was Sainsbury's old one, 5 meals for £20.

I wonder if staff get a weeks worth for free, when I used to work there when they launched new Feed your family for a fiver recipes they gave staff the ingredients for free.

Not massively impressed to be honest, but at least it's a start and will give some people inspiration.

I work for Sainsburys for 3 years now and not received these. Only thing I received was free ingredients to make a Victoria sponge cake for the company's 140th birthday celebrations, two years ago on my 1st anniversary there. I cannot recall my colleagues talking about free food.

Never get food freebies in my store. even though we get notices saying 'you will be receiving blah blah blah' but never do get them!

Just looking at this on their website. There's only 2 of us at the minute but I shall adjust it.

I had the Victoria Sponge one, a Cottage Pie feed your family for a fiver one and a pasta bake one. It was normally only the ones they got Jamie Oliver to advertise.

We normally got told about it and then had to collect it from the warehouse ourselves, they had special packs with Colleague sampling only on them.

not a criticism of the op of course, but how do sainsburys suppose active children and adults can get by until the evening meal on just toast and a sandwich?
i am a bit on the squashy side so could afford to lose a few pounds, but my partner and children are all slim and healthy and eat an awful lot more than sainsbury's suggest for breakfast and lunch, because they need to eat healthily troughout the day in order to function properly... what a silly gimmicky idea, to me it feels like putting entire families on a faddy diet based on budget...
