Cheap Accommodation in Madrid Sept/Oct

Afternoon all!

Im planning a little trip for my partner and I to head to Spain (to practice our Spanish)

Im thinking Madrid and have found reasonably priced flights.

However as I have no holiday left with work we'll have to fly out on a Friday eve and return on the Sunday eve.

Does anyone one have any tips for reasonable accommodation. I dont want to pay through the roof for two days and we dont mind a double room hostel.

https://www.solmelia.com have lots of hotels, sometimes special offers, also look at https://www.Barcelo.com

Look at end of Sept/ early Oct for cheaper rates.

Also consider Alicante, Bilbao and Valencia which can be sometimes cheaper for hotels.

If you don't mind a private double room in a hostel, try https://www.hostelworld.com - I've used them several times and they are trustworthy. Sometimes the rates are even cheaper there than direct with the hotel (yes they do budget hotels too:) )
