you typed before reading didn't you
But to answer the OP the best thing is a solution of vinegar and water, I know vinegar smells almost as bad as water but it does dissipate fairly quickly.
I offer no guarantee that vinegar wont mark the furniture though so test it on an unseen area first.

You've washed the cushion covers but have you done anything with the cushion pads?
I would
a) hang them outside on the washing line and give them a thorough soaking with febreeze, suishing and squeezing them them to try to get the febreeze as far inside the filling as possible and then let them air on the line till completely dry.
b) if there is a seam on the cushion that could be unpicked (and assuming you are capable of restuffing and re-sewing the seam) I would consider taking the filling out of the inner liner and febreezing it then - may be able to get it in better. All depends on the type of filling
No idea what would take the smell out of the leather (assuming it has penetrated that) although have you tried using a proper leather cleaner on it?0 -
I would clean the leather with a damp cloth,I think most Hemmingways have feather cushions so remove the cover and air the cushion in the garden on a warm day.remove the base cloth and allow air to circulate inside the carcase, fit a new base cloth.(dont know why but the base cloths tend to hold odours for ages).
Oh your Hemmingway is made by Tetrad.0 -
Blimey - talk about shooting first and asking questions afterwards. You always so trigger happy? I think you need some of these:smoking is a filthy dangerous habit. ca'nt be doing with it. would'nt want anything from a a smoker's home specially not soft furnishing's. even hate going in smoker's home's.

Cheers
