Do you cover your wheelie bins?
I have 2 of the green normal household rubbish wheelie bins and one brown one for garden refuse. They are an eyesore and my garden isn't big enough to lose them in a corner.
I'm thinking about screening of some sort. Do any of you have a store or a screen for yours and if so are you happy with it? Is it durable and has it lasted?

I'm currently being undecisive about the same issue.
I am contemplating getting one of these willow screens for my bin or building something myself . Really can't justify spending £100 plus on the wooden bin screens (and that's just for a single, never mind a double)
Think I may end up buying some timber battening and a roll of willow/bamboo/reed screening and just build my own0 -
That's exactly what I was looking at, only in the triple version. An Amazon review kinda put me off a little though.
I thought about the DIY route too but the willow screening rolls are fairly pricey too so I'm not sure how much in the way of savings would be had.Herman - MP for all!

My other half made one for our bins! Just hammered some fence poles in with those spike bits at the ends (theyre called metpost wedge grip post supports on B&Q website it seems!), and then put some cross wood supports on, and covered it in willow screening. We built it against the fence for extra support, and filled the bottom with weed suppressing membrane and gravel to hopefully stop the weeds! Looks good and probably cheaper than a shop bought one!

I've been pondering the same thing for my tiny front yard, we still have old round bins and black sacks (plus an assortment of food caddies, glass and tin boxes and plastic bottle and paper bags - I keep those out on the street though). I've been thinking about getting some sort of panel and putting it on a hinge on the wall so it can be swung open on bin day. Must convince t'other half.:heartpulsSpoiling my two baby girls with love - it's free and it's fun!:heartpuls
I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?
