    Well your first job is to write down everything you know about him, absolutely everything, you should be able to find your marriage certificate, this should have some info about your ex, full name etc...

    There are several people searches, 192.com being the one I can remember, but there is also http://lifehacker.com/329033/how-to-track-down-anyone-online it might help/might not it worth a try!

    Haven't visited here for a while - just thought I'd post a quick update. I finally managed to get a divorce in Feb this year - 5yrs & 10 months after 'ex' husband disappeared. I hired a Private Investigator to try and track him down - which was unsuccessful but the statements he provided was enough evidence for the courts that I had done all I could to trace him !
    So - it took a lot of time, effort and a fair bit of money - but I got there in the end :-) what a relief !! Thanks for all the encouragement along the way x
