How can I connect X-box to internet via a wireless PC?

Hoping there are some x box/networking gurus around. My son just bought an x box 360 to replace his old PS3, and we just discovered it doesn't have built in wireless like the PS3 did. A wireless adapter for the x box is around £40 but he already has a PC in his room which connects wirelessly to our netgear access point. So, is it possible to connect his PC to his x box via ethernet, and then get the x-box to connect to the internet through his PC's wireless connection? A hardwired connection from the x box to the access point is not a practical option. PC is using Windows 7.

If the PC has an ethernet port them you can run a cable from it to the Xbox using this sort of method. The procedure will vary somewhat depending on what flavour of Windows you are using (assuming it is Windows), but you should be able to find the instructions fairly easily.0

Which xbox did you buy? The new Slim one has the wireless built in.I try to help as much as I can. But I'm also honest and speak my mind.
