I'd love a spreadsheet too but don't have the necessary software
I have limited software too, for some reason am only on trial version of office but someone on here sent me a spreadsheet and converted it so that I could use openoffice to use it. A handy site is www.thismuchiknow.co.uk and I use it quite a lot as it tells you months saved etc. Thanks for the suggestions - if only I knew how to use one and what to put on it!
I don't know if it's such a good idea anyway as we can only pay off a minimum of £500 in lump sums. I so wish we could pay as little or as much as we liked!
I'm glad we can pay smaller amounts, £500 is a lot to save. I don't know why some companies have those restrictions. She gets to watch
Finally reached my £80 OnePoll target so have transferred that into my Paypal and then it'll be going into my OP lump sum fund.
A NSD here too, so win win :T
Woohoo, Onepoll is such easy money!
I will be following your diary. I was confused at first as your mortgage was so low compared to mine although they're similar amounts then I saw the IO. Do you have a timeframe for being MF, i'm 29 so to be MF by 40 would be fab!Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0 -

I'll have the same problem as you with the minimum £500 OP (once I get to OPing!) it would be so much easier if I could just transfer money as and when to the mortgage account, I'd be much more likely to do it.Mortgage Start (08/10) : £96,685
Mortgage Currently : £94,193
Daily Interest : At start £10.46 : Now £10.19
MFD : 08/35
Emergency Fund £465.05/£3000, 2011 target : £15000 -

I've just had a nosey at your diary, it's great starting when you have only just bought the house. Our light bulb moment came last November, after 3 years in our house when we realised how little was coming off the capital each month.
I think we must be similar ages as I have also just had to renew my photocard licence as well (27)OPs so far £42,139
Original end date Nov 2037 (53) Current end date June 2024 (40) Aiming for 5 years to be Mf
