Google docs provides free applications, is what I use for my spreadsheets, as means I can access them wherever I am (home/work/train). The Google spreadsheet is fine for standard excel stuff (haven't tried anything more than sums etc though).Opening Mortgage balance as of 01.10.21 - £438,500.00 Current Mortgage balance as of 01.11.24 - £409,492.240

Glad you enjoyed the hen weeked

I admit I generally order the most expensive meals when in a group as it's alway tends to be split equally and I've been burned so many times! (the best one was where all I had was a drink and an onion bahji and everyone else had two courses!!!!)
I agree with mpgsheep that google docs is good for spreadsheets.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

LilB - generally paying the £500 lumps is better than a single lump as they start working to reduce the interest quicker.
For breakdown cover look at autonational - £66 for 15 months or autoaid £37 for 12 months. Both the same as the top UK cover from AA or RAC. Autoaid is pay and reclaim (you pay for the breakdown and they refund you when you submit a claim form). I've used autoaid and def recommend it - Martin recommends both. They are related companies.

It's been a busy but not too expensive weekend.
A friend came to visit and we tried to keep expenditures to a minimum - i.e window shopping/charity shop shopping, having a BBQ instead of eating out etc.
I've cancelled my mobile phone contract (which wasn't easy :wall: ) but it's all sorted now, so a saving of at least £10 a month there.
Have a happy Sunday
