Old style TV/DVD Combi

Hi everyone, looking for a wee bit of help here.
I need to get a tv/dvd combi for my son's room, it has to be the old style (not LCD/Flat), either 14/15/17 inch or therabouts. The reason it for being old style is that it has to sit in the corner of his room on a small table as he has bad epilepsy and would more easily knock over the flat screen on its stand.
I am more than happy to get him a flat screen and wall mount it but the ex doesn't want it in the wall !!
I have searched high and low to try and source a new one but as they are pretty old now i cant seem to find anything.
Anyone got any ideas or hints of where to get one new?
Thanks a lot

Hi,
I'm not sure about new ones , but for old ones, you could try eBay, they sometimes have the old TV's/combi's listed.
Have you checked your local Freecycle?
Perhaps the Loot even?
Also, normally on the combi's the video/dvd part seems to go rather quickly, so watch out if you buy one!
Hope this helps!:)0 -
Depending on whether you have one locally, the British Heart Foundation has about 100 furniture and electrical stores nationwide. They're good for (tested) pre-loved kit.
ToDo's right about the dvd wearing out, though.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0
