:rotfl: don't worry, your secret's safe with me
As for my own resolutions:
1. Clear as much debt as possible before my baby arrives in February
2. Stay afloat during maternity leave and return to work with MASSIVE childcare bills
3. Tighten our household budget even further as I'm still overspending with Mr TescoDebt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

Mine is definately to be debt free by this time next year. I know my siggy says I'm aiming for October , but I've had a few bills in since I had my LBM, and it's a bit out with my snowball. I'll have to do a new one in January when I can tally them a bit better with my own daily running plan. I have made a start though, I've drawn up a budget for December (not including Christmas, as that was already saved for), and I want to see if we can stick to it.
That and to get back down to the dress size I was this time last year.:EasterBun What can I say?
I just realised that I kinda wanna shave a whole year off my life!! This time last year I had no debts either!!! Well, I've had an amazing year, just little glitches in the form of a few extra pounds on my body and a few lost ones from my bank:D

mines to give up smoking and pay as much as possible of my debts...it won't all be clear at the end of 2007 but loads will have gone. It's not exactly a new years resolutin..as I won't be going full pelt until I come back from my holidays middle of feb...as that's when I'll give up smoking...booked month in goa pre lightbulb moment..so was already paid for...plus don't earn when I'm on holiday as self-employed...so debt will probably increase a little that month as well...but will be fully mse then...when I get back:beer:0

my years resolution is to save at least £5000 within the whole year... it should be achievable and if i do it by june i will try and double it  obviously situations change and things occur so its not set in stone but its what i want to achive :T0

My New Year's resolution is to sell our house in London (which will allow us to clear our debts - which are currently on 0% while the cash is in savings... - and also make us mortgage free - yippee!!:j). I then need to get a new job (because we will be moving over 100 miles away into a new area ) and my aim for 2007 is to start renovating our "new" (in reality, very old and run-down ) house and to build up some savings in the bank to give us some security for the future...!

Sounds simple enough...:p but feels like a massive mountain to climb
- still, the "view" will be worth it in the end!!

I have an interview tomorrow for some freelance work which would bring in £7,000 (on top of my regular work) so as you can imagine I am pinning lots of hopes on that. I have to do a presentation about my previous experience in this area which to be honest is not great, so I will have to project bags of confidence, which I dont really feel. Please everyone send me good vibes around 2pm!

hope all goes well with the interview, i have an interview tomorrow at 11am0 -

Well I made my last resolution in Nov 05 that I would sort out my finances.. and I've been doing that!!!
I think I could still tidy up on the food budget and I've managed to afford a holiday for 2007 without getting in to debt! I really want to pay for my mum and me to go to Oz for her 50th B'day for xmas and new year 2008.. which means some serious budgeting/money making skills are required!

Mine is pay my credit card off (it has about £3,000 on it at the moment). I've just transfered it to M&S at 3.9% life of balance so it should be achieveable :money:The best things in life aren't things.0
