    It means "no deposit".

    Check the small print. Consider why they would do that, is there a problem with the property and they are desperate to get someone in..?

    Is it some clever ploy to avoid registering with the deposit scheme, taking extra "rent" instead...for example.
    Act in haste, repent at leisure.
