Scottish Power Tariffs - Please Help.

Hi,
I am totally confused Scottish Power tariffs and amd hoping that someone could help me understand them.
I have been a Scottish Power Customer for 10 years and have had nothing but problems with my billing. They have recently increased by Direct Debit to £210 per month!! Although I don't have gas, I feel that this is really high.
On my bill, I am being charged for the "Standard and Economy 2000" tariffs. Scottish Power have confirmed that these are the correct tarrifs as I have a wet heating system. However, I have three meter readings on my Electronic Meter. When I checked what the readings mean on the Scottish Power website, it shows the following:
1. Domestic Day
2. Domestic Night
3. Off Peak
I am being charged 11.652p for the "Domestic Day and Domestic Night" tarrifs and 6.711p for the Off Peak.
Does this mean that I am being charged 11.652p for Domestic Electricity, no matter when I use this and I am being charged 6.711p for my heating/hot water?
Is there a problem with my meter or configuration?
As I said, I am totally confused and would really appreciate if someone could shed some light on this.
I have raised a complaint with Scottish Power to investigate, however, it would be good to have an understanding of what I am supposed to be charged.
Many Thanks in Advance.

Hi Johng 1976,
Your Economy 2000 tariff is billed on your 3-rate meter as
1. day
2. day
3. night
So two of your rates will be charges at the same price and the 3rd rate charged at the off-peak unit price for your heating/hot water.
There are other ways which this tariff can be billed using more than one meter however it will make no difference to your charges.
If you wish me to take up your complaint, check your account and be more specific you can e-mail me at onlinecomplaints@scottishpower.com
Kind regards

Hi,
from SP site:
Daily Service Charge 17 .15p
All/Day kWh 11.652p
Night/Low /Off Peak Units 6.711p
looks to me as though you should be charged thus:
1. Domestic Day 11.652p
2. Domestic Night 6.711p
3. Off Peak 6.711p.0 -
Hi frugalmacdugal,
Thanks for that. That's what I thought...0
