I have a railcard already expiring 26/7 but have signed up for this too because if you don't get the free one, you can't avail of the 50% off offer in August. This is worth remembering for next year everyone as even though you have a valid card for the duration of the freebie (if you renew) in order to renew at half price, apply for the free one anyway.

Just to let some of you know, we did this in 2009 and 2010, did not ever receive an email confirmation either time but still received our 2 months free card each time. Saved us lots of money both times.

No conformation email this time either, but doubt it really matters.
