It all depends on weight. If for instance they come in at under a kilo but above 750g then 2nd class at £3.15. If they go over the kilo use standard parcel at £4.41. Strangely enough chepa shoes are oftne lighter and th eboxes ar eflimsier. An expensive pair of shoes often comes in a stronger box, hence my quoting quite heavy weights as an example.
Whatever method you choose make sure you keep your proof of postage for 180 days in case of any claims of chargebacks. You can't win a paypal chargeback for INR but could use the COP to reclaim your losses.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If it is over 500g and below 750g packed and boxed then yes 2nd class will bring you in at £2.61. The post Office will give you proof of posting if you ask, keep it safe!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. if its below 500g (for other items) should i still use second class? if so, when do i use 1st class? or should i just try to avoid posting 1st class.. what do u reckon for items above 1000g/1kilo?i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble :whistle:0

2nd class if you'd rather keep the money in your pocket than Royal Mail's... Just make sure to list the postage method as 2nd class on your listings. Standard parcels is cheaper above 1kg than 1st class too.0 -

There is an easy recknor here once you know your packed weight.

I tend to use 2nd class on most items and then standard parcels, as per jasmineswhiskas, once it exceeds that weight.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
