Pin before card

Every card i've ever had as been delivered before the pin, the pin has no arrived and the card not yet, likely the card had gone missing or this standard for some companies?

My American Excuse PIN arrived before the card, but the letter that came with the PIN told me the card was on it's way.

ooops, just read the letter I couldn't be bothered to read... clearly says the card is due to arrive in the next few days:T

Yup. PIN first, then card, is the standard. Cards are easier to spot in the post by light fingered felons who would then look out for a PIN coming.
