Glazing in composite door...

I was wondering if anyone could help me out... I have a solid composite back door which makes my tiny kitchen look really dark when it's closed. Is it possible to have glazing added to a solid door or would I have to buy a new one?

Just looking for the cheapest option as I've been quoted £490 for supply and fit of a upvc half glazed door but I feel like I'd be downgrading from composite to upvc...

Thanks in advance :)
