Vax carpet cleaner

This is a straightforward carpet cleaner which worked well until the other day. The problem: the carpet cleaning fluid does not reach the carpet despite a full reservoir and so while the motor/suction is working well the carpet remains dry. Any ideas, I have checked the manual (unhelpful) no ideas there!

That happened to me last year... I had also forgot to register the thing.... I was tearing my hair out and then I found that I had put it back together wrongly... I can't remember what I had done, but I had connected something up to the wrong bit... so try taking it apart again and make sure you assemble it correctly... If I remember, I had done something simple that stopped the water flowing....
It's worth a try.... just in case...

Mine has done this a few times, normally when I've left the liquid in it for a few months.
On mine the spray bar underneath becomes clogged. I turn mine upside down, and you can see the bar at the front with small holes in it. I use a pin to clear it and all is well again.
Hopefully you have the same thing and it's a quick fix.0
