Not sure.....any help/advice??

Hi all,

Just after a little advice. Have a creidt card with Virgin/MBNA with a current balance of around £1900.00 and also a card with Barclaycard with a similar balance. Basically the Virgin card is getting absolutely hammered with interest, I think I pay around £50.00 a month, the Barclaycard is less but still quite high.

I want to try and get a card with a balance transfer offer for at least one of them so that I can get this debt paid once and for all!! My credit rating I think is okay. I have a mortgage never missed a payment, loan that has never missed a payment, the only problem is I have been a couple of days late twice this year in paying the virgin card....nothing major but still I got a late default charge on the account.

I want to apply for a new card but alot of companies are the same....ie virgin and MBNA . Can anyone recommend a company to use, someone that wont be to fussy........if I get turned down at least I've tried....I know how fussy they can be. My wife already has a card with Nationwide so I dont think I can try them.

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you
.....

"Nothing Major"? We've only had 4 months so far this year and you've been late twice! Very recent late payments will impact your credit rating quite a lot.

Every lender is "fussy". Your bank, ie they that receive your income, may offer the best chance. After all, they know more about your finances than anyone.
