EDF, British Gas, Scottish Power and NPower have ALL TOLD ME LIES AND EACH HAS GIVEN ME ONE HELL OF A CRAPPY, SHODDY SERVICE tailored to them debiting me at every opportunity and giving me nothing but lies and deceit and complicated letters in return, a huge sprawling money making mess that i have had to go to the cheifs of their complaints to get anything done with, i have had it with them all -

is there another supplier i can go to? I am in the North East.

Thanks.

Sounds like you've gone through all the big ones. How about trying a smaller company? If you wish to pay by cash then my personal favourite is Ebico.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Have you tried a price comparison website to see what your choices are?

There's also Ovo which is a small company and worth comparing prices with Ebico before you jump.

You do sound like me though. I've been with most of the companies, and dislike them all. Eventually I'm going to have to go back to one I don't like and I may have done so inadvertently as they all seem to change their names regularly. Now we know why they do that.

There is also Scottish and Southern Energy who are one of the largest energy suppliers in the UK (no connection to Scottish Power) , with four separate brands, Southern Electric, SWALEC, Scottish Hydro-Electric and Atlantic Electric and Gas

    EG: http://www.southern-electric.co.uk/gasandelectricity/

They are the people who supply EBICO and operate there customer service.

Bear in mind EBICO and SSE's rates are aimed at medium to low users of energy so always worth doing a comparison, while I appreciate the frustrating times you seem to have had, you could be talking about about paying appreciably more for the cost of you energy

I'd certainly recommend Ovo if you are sick of the bigger companies, they arent perfect but you do get a sense they are actually trying to improve as opposed to the other companies who couldnt give a toss as long as you keep the money rolling in...

Check out their website, they make everything a lot clearer than the other companies too, they are proabably cheaper than ebico if you are online and dont have a pre-pay meter..
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

You can try Scottish & Southern Energy, aka Southern Electric, SWALEc or Scottish Hydro. Competitive price and good customer service in the UK. also part of the so called big 6.
