Does it not give the tariff details on the bill?

Also do you know how much she uses in kWhs per year?

That is all you need to work out if she would be better off on another tariff or not.

What she paid previously will not be what she pays in the future.

Start here by understanding the bill itself. It's a tariff for existing customers, so no you won't find it on comparison sites. Like everyone who comes here looking for info [ including myself recently ] you will never begin to understand without knowing the kWh-pa usage.

Then you have area codes / discounts / SC or not SC / etc, most of this is on your mothers bill but interpreting the bill is not easy. The URL I mentioned earlier in a blue colour has the 2011 info.

    Hi Katrina,

If you are looking for some help on finding out the details of the tariff in question you can e-mail me at onlinecomplaints@scottishpower.com I may not be able to discuss the actual account if it is not in your name but I can certainly give you all the details of the tariff once I can identify what area etc you are in.
