A friend very recently done a deal to buy a used car, gave his credit card number for the deposit but has signed no paper work, has copy of invoice which states deposit paid, garage is a main dealer.
Dealer has agreed to discount parking sensors to sweeten the deal, with this in mind can the deal be cancelled, bearing in mind nothing has been signed.
Appreciate the help.

Can who cancel? your friend or the dealership?
Your friend has the right to cancel.
The dealership won't cancel, even with the "discount" they'll have recovered that cost with additional servicing deals, extended warranty and fancy "can't be bothered to wash my car" diamond+ceramic+unobtainium composite quadraspaz paint protection.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
