Hi Guys,
Can anyone recommend a wireless Internet adapter for my PS2?
I simply want to plug in a usb adapter into my PS2 and the play games online. I have a netgear router.
Thanks
James

AFAIK ... what you need is a wireless bridge or wireless gaming adaptor.
Also, if your PS2 is the older (i.e. not slimline one), then you'll need a Network Adaptor (which fits into the Expansion Bay).
The PS2 would be wired (via the Network Adaptor, if required) into the bridge or gaming adaptor, which would "talk" to your wireless router.
Have a look at this page for more info'.
I think that this might be the Netgear item.0 -
Thanks, my PS2 is the slimline version with usb ports on the front, can you provide a link to the item I require for this?0

Even the older (non-slimline) PS2 consoles have USB ports. (That's how "Buzz" controllers, and EyeToy cameras connect.)
What yours should have is an ethernet port.
AFAIK, that's the only way of connecting to the Net, because the USB ports aren't connected to the ethernet controller.
Have a look at this page from PlayStation which covers the same ground.0
