Sat Nav map updates

I have a Navman ICN 750 which is 4 years old with dated UK maps and no updates or downloads available from Navman.
Does anyone know if it would be possible to install up to date TomTom maps to this sat nav or any other up to date maps?
Thanks

I'm doubtful if I will be able to update this sat nav. Reason I was asking about TomTom software is that some time ago on the grab it site people had bought cheap sat navs from Tesco and installed TomTom software so thought I might be able to do the same. Thanks for your reply.0 -
No - The Tesco/Ebuyer solution worked because the cheap satnavs ran on a common personal organiser platform, which TomTom could run on instead. I'm fairly sure that TomTom no longer support that platform anyway, so you would probably be stuck with old maps there too.
Having said that, I have a 4 year old Garmin with original maps, and I don't actually find it a problem. Ok, you sometimes find minor errors (e.g. you can fly through roundabouts that no longer exist on the A1M), but it's usually obvious what's going on, and things always sort themselves out once you're past the changed bits.0 -
Thanks for the info, you have answered the question I had in mind about the TomTom software in other sat navs.
I can get by with the Navman and as you said "things always sort themselves out once you're past the changed bits"
The Navman ICN 750 has a card slot for SD map updates but I cant find any for sale through Navman or eBay as they are discontinued. I guess manufacturers of electronic equipment would go out of business if they sold "future proof" equipment that could be updated for years to come.
