Not sure this is the right board, but seemed more apt than most others...
I'm looking for a reasonably priced cordless answer/phone set that must have a caller identification display - does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, a OneTel OT8500 DECT system. But they're not available any longer.
Generally, I think most DECT phones have adequate CLI capabilities these days.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Don't forget that you will also have to get your provider to enable CLI at their end, and that some providers make a charge for that service.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

That depends if the are CLI Linecards fitted in the exchange.I know for a fact that not all Virgin Media cable Mux's have CLI Linecards & the same goes for certain other suppliers.0
