Can anyone recommend a good site for Audio book downloads for my iphone, I previously borrowed from my local library - special discs for MP3 players, but they no longer do them.
itunes are very expensive, and cheaper ones on ebay are more for classics than modern books.
I have tried to put ordinary audio books from CD on to my phone, but it seems to scrabble all the chapters!
thanks:)

i am guessing you mean scramble not scrabble
– if so this is probably because it will organise them by alphabetical order, or when you rip them it will just call each chapter track 1, track 2 etc for each CD so when you put them together you get lots of chapter 1’s, anyways putting in a bit of effort in renaming them would sort that out, although a bit time consuming.
Otherwise have you looked at audible whose format itunes can read, otherwise maybe look at amazonDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
I mostly use my phone as an audiobook player. That and my earlier phones too use the ID3 tags in the MP3s rather than the filenames to sequence them.
For home made audiobook MP3s as well as ensuring the segments are in the correct sequence alphabetically as logically you'll need to set ID3 tags for them too. I just checked and I use http://www.mp3tag.de/en - from memory it was was enough to get it to set all the ID3 title tags to the filename.
Obviously you also need to make a playlist for each book using whatever mechanism your MP3 player offers and even more obviously make sure shuffle and repeat are turned off.0
