Loud vibrating noise???
Hi
This only started to happen this morning. When the car engine is idle there is a loud vibrating or rattling sound coming from the rear on the passenger side. It stops once I put the accelorator down. I have a Y reg Peaguet 307 estate diesel. Was thinking perhaps the exhaust bracket?? Any help would be very much appreciated.
Many Thanks in advance.

get down on your knees and have a look to see if you can locate the source of the rattle."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Any work done on it recently?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Definately need to have a look. I see quite a few cars on the road with the engine undertray loose - must create quite a bit of banging - I'm surprised their owners don't notice.0

Im betting one of the exhaust hangars has broken and the silencer is bouncing about, probably does it at certain RPM's whenever it hits resonance..... eg 1000 then 2000 then 3000 etc etc.
But I ask if any work has been done recently to the exhaust it could be the brackets need bending away from the cars underside.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
