Wonder if she got the job because of the name ? :rotfl:Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Hi guys,
As expected, letter no2 has arrived. I quote:
'Failure to pay the full balance outstanding within 14 days of the date of this notice could result in the balance outstanding being registered as a debt against you. You may also become liable for additional costs involved. Your ability to obtain credit in the future could be affected.
WE ARE HOLDING PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE ON FILE TO SUPPORT THIS CLAIM.'
The above is all only technically correct if the case goes to court and I don't pay what the judge asks me to pay, right?
I've looked at the sticky again, but none of my letters look like the ones there. Am I the first, or have there been others?
OK, so what happens next? I might expect a final letter of warning, then it gets passed to who: the solicitor or the baliff?
Can the company appoint a baliff, or just the courts?
If the baliffs come round, they can take the value of good from my house, right?
Am a bit confused, which is not a good place to be at this stage!
Thanks once again in advance for your help. :T :TPlease call me 'Pickle'

Yes they have a nice picture of the car, but now all they got to do is find out who was driving, only the driver can in theory be taken to court , if you don't tell them who that is, and really you have no legal reason to do so, their case sort of falls down, they cannot issue to the driver of said car on the date and time, and location.
And by the way don't confuse powerless debt collectors with bailiffs, they would have to take you to court first.

You are taking these clowns too seriously. What you are receiving are the usual hollow and meaningless threats. It will never go to court.
The only way a bailiff (as opposed to a powerless debt-collector) can "come round" is if the case goes to court (very unlikely) you lose (very, very unlikely) and then you don't pay whatever the judge orders within 28 days. This will never happen so stop worrying! What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Sorry, it's just that I'm generally a very good pickle, and don't get myself into many, erm, pickles, of this variety!

I'm sure once I've got this over me and have hardened up, I'll be just as
as the rest of you! :rotfl:
Thanks for the help once again. :APlease call me 'Pickle'

*UPDATE*
For those who have found themselves in a similar situation, I just wanted to let you know that I have since heard nothing from the parking company. *Touches large piece of wood*
Take heart, the similarly afflicted!
