Tesco misprice discussion area part 15
Comments

Hi people, I am an rnr newbie.
Do cs like to collect personal info - postcode, name etc? Or do they just hand over the money?
Do you use cards to pay, or cash to avoid patterns being spotted?
Thanks!0 -

The more experienced of us tend to preach............
Use only cash and never a Club card.
A Club card is the equivalent of an identity card, on which all your purchases are recorded.......and your address details are shown on screen.
If cash is not always possible, a credit card may be used, if it is, and you are asked for your name and address, make sure you give the name on the card....but can give any address.
If using cash, have a prepared incorrect name and address ready for this request.....try and make sure the postcode is a valid one.......any....but valid.
Usually on smallish RandR's these details arent requested, but be prepared for anything at the CS desk.
Although you are doing nothing wrong or unlawful in your RandRing, and sould be able to give your correct name and address without repercussion, Tesco use this against you, even though they have no right to request your address details................that is why we give false details.
It is possible for them to build a case against you as a deliberate RandRer if you use your correct address, or clubcard.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

One good thing abut WF is it's right next to a WHSmith (if you catch my drift!)
I think I might be banned from WF after a big rant at CS regarding a free Motorola mobile and four PSP games. They thought that it was funny that all of the games I had chosen were mispriced, and remembered that I had had a phone a couple of weeks before.
I actually live in Wellingborough.... but they don't stock very many electricals.
Recommend Kingston MK for that !!!:T :T :T0 -

jeez forgot the reason I came in , the naughty staff at tesco In shettleston have printed and posted a message at c/s desk saying" due to technical difficulties our special offers are not scanning properly at tills. Therefore we will only refund the difference in price at this time" Cheeky but is it legal?:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o
