Satellite problem. 60% signal but 0.2% quality!

Hmm... I'm trying to fix my mother's satellite dish and reception. The old one had rusted and found the LNB was water logged. Nice...
So installed new dish, new receiver, new LNB. One problem! No picture.
(1) First question. How much will it cost to get someone in to repair the system? To be honest I've done most of the work and don't feel like get someone in. North west area.
(2) Possibility the cable is water logged? Can't be as no rust or discolouring or any sign. But possible? If so, how easy is it to throw satellite cable over the roof to the other side. LOL.

Are you sure that the dish is properly aligned.
I use a sat system on my touring caravan and set it up frequently. The slightest ( i.e 2mm or so ) misalignment causes similar problems. It can be a very,very frustrating job.
I would try giving the dish tiny adjustments as a starter.Forgotten but not gone.0 -
ive adjusted mine with a satellite finder doodah, in answerto the cable - could be that as well, easy to lob over a roof - coil a good few m's up and then sling over roof !You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
