Neighbour extension

Hi, we're looking for some advice based on where we might stand with our neighbours extension.
We share a party wall for a lean-to garage and utility area. Our neighbours want to knock down the party wall and build a two-storey extension giving us permission to build a lean-to on their wall.
We have no objection to their extension but we would face the cost of replacing the front of the garage (both brick and door), roof and floor.
We had no intention of making any changes to the current structure at this time and would like to know what would be reasonable to ask for from our neighbour in terms of costs for the work we would need to carry out.
any advice would be appreciated
Thanks
Hamish

Have you discussed what they are planning with them? If not might be an idea and while doing so you could ask the question about the impact it would have on your garage. They may offer to pay for anything that needs done.
If not then its certainly something you should be asking.0
