Weekend travelcard London

OH and I have engagements in London on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. We only live about a 30min train journey away from Marylebone (but outside any zone). I understand there is a weekend travel card available but can't find anything about it online, save for some tourist oriented sites mentioning its existence. Are there any discounts for railcards?
Many thanks for any help.

There is no longer a weekend travelcard in London.
There is a reduction with a railcard but only for an all zone card (1-6)
You may find it cheaper to buy a one day travelcard for each day from your local station - there are certainly railcard discounts on this. It covers a day return journey and is inclusive of a zone 1-6 travelcard. It's often cheaper than a single with a separate travelcard.0 -

We'll be travelling into zone 1 both days. Not sure what railheads there are to be honest. We normally travel by car!0 -

Slight bit of confusion, what railcard do you have?
Have you thought about an Oyster card and having the railcard discount added.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

If you like me and prefer paper travelcards then you could do is this and buy in advance, which includes your railcard discount;
Wembley Stadium to London Zone 1-4 One Day Off Peak Travelcard £5.30 (HMF Railcard gives a £2 saving) so £10.60 for both days.
You don't need to start/finish at Wembley, just use the ticket at Marylebone Underground station.
Info from the East Coast Website
I haven't really tried Oyster cards due to the hassle of having teenage kids, but from all account I've read on this forum and others, as an adult they work just as well and can be a lot cheaper.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

This is just a railcard-discounted All Zones (Zones 1-6) Off-Peak Day Travelcard. Technically in paper ticket form only All Zones Travelcard (costing £8 in-boundary) attract discounts, not the other variants. However the discounted version (costing £5.30) is still cheaper than either the full-price Zones 1-2 version (£6.60) or the Zones 1-4 version (£7.30) which is why it shows up on the booking engines.
Nevertheless if you have an Oyster card, you will be able to enjoy 1/3 off daily capping rates for the zones you use, hence only £4.35 for Zones 1-2 or £4.80 for Zones 1-4. You also get 1/3 off off-peak single fares. Remember you must touch in and out even if you have reached your daily cap.
If you do not already own an Oyster card, there are some vending machines at certain stations that still sell them (see this) at certain locations which take coins only but still only charge £3 deposit. These machines are being phased out and stock is subject to availability. If you get one from the ticket window, then it will cost you a £5 deposit. You must register the railcard entitlement at the ticket window, where you might be asked to fill in a form in order to register your card so allow yourself time to do that, and bear in mind that London Underground ticket offices at many mainline stations can be busy so allow yourself plenty of time.
Print out the instructions from here in case the clerk is not familiar with the procedure of loading the entitlement onto the card.0 -
Hi folks,
I am new to this so bear with me!
There are 2 of us travelling to London 21st-23rd December (weekend)
We are looking for the cheapest form of underground pass possible..
We will only be in Zones 1-3..
Mostly Zones 1-2 but will have to use Zone on the Saturday for a return journey.
Does anyone have any idea on what the best pass to buy is?? Iv had a look but i find it all very confusing!
Any help would be much appreciate!
