Finding a B&B

How do you guys find a list of Bed & Breakfast's in the UK? Is there a site that lists all of them in a given area including their prices similar to the ones available for hotels?

Usually they give you a list of hotels,b&bs etc and you choose.

Which hotel search engines are you referring to? The ones I've used list hotels only - I presume B&B's would work out cheaper but none are ever on the list since when I sort by price I only get hotel rooms.

AA publish a book which should be in your local library. They should be open tomorrow- if you still have one.....

(I know websites are quicker but I have yet to find one I can see the hotels all on one map of an area, and where you can turn pages to an index - let alone one you can read in the bath )

If you need to look online, you could try this site

which seems to have a map if you click the "B and B search" tab at the top. (I've not looked at it in detail but might now!)

Tripadvisor , enter town/city or area.
Click on Hotels.

Second one down on types of hotels is BB.
Then use the sliding scale on the left.

Try the English Tourist Board for the area you are visiting they usually have a booklet they can send you.
