How does DLA affect Guarantee Pension Credit

My elderly (75+) parents both currently receive DLA (high rate mobility, low rate care) and Guarantee Pension Credit. Their care needs have changed substantially since they were last assessed (years ago) and I am currently helping them to fill in the forms to have their care needs looked at again. I think I am correct in beleiving that if either of them are awarded DLA Middle or Higher Care component then they will get more Guarantee pension credit. Can anyone please tell me if I am correct and if so how much more they will get? Thanks in advance.

If they both recevie the mr or hr care, they may qualify for severe disablement premium, which has gone up to £110.60, but the essential part is that they both have to get the MR or HR of care otherwise it cannot be considered

you need the severe disablement premium, disability premium is for income support not pension credit0
