Have you dealt with or ever spoken with Caribbean Warehouse????
As I said previous I have dealt with them for the past 4/5 years and know them very well indeed - they go out of their way to assist people and that is what they have built a very successful business. I also know of many other people who have also dealt with them and they to are perfectly happy with the service they provide
I am sure that if they could contact the customer directly they would do but sometimes people do not follow things up with a company after making initial contact. The customer could always contact them again
That aside I do know of other cases where the police have got involved with situations but without knowing more information about what happened with this person how do we know who was to blame. The reps that companies such as CW use in holiday destinations are not employees but staff of companies who provide such services
I feel sorry for an person who has problems on their well earned holiday but as I have said matter are far better dealt with direct with the resort and not a 3rd party. The person would also be far better to follow it up with Stuart now rather than posting on an Internet Forum unless the real purpose is to try and damage their reputation rather than get a satisfactory outcome0 -
As I have just noticed that this website has a message facility I have sent the OP a message suggesting they contact Stuart directly to resolve their issues0

Getting good customer service is a common issue. Customer is treated good only when firstly approached.

Apologies I have not responded to so many of the messages regarding this post. I've not been on the internet much. Thanks for your kind words on this forum and advise, I really appreciate it. I didn't really want to go into the actual details of what happened on the trip for simply no other reason that they were actually really upsetting. Just to confirm that I did take up the issues both on site and filled out forms etc. Which were then followed up on return with CW. CW did not assist as I would have hoped a company would after what was a serious incident. The actual hotel was far better and apologised for the problems after we returned home and offered us a return free week themselves (which we didn't accept as we'd already taken up the incident with the travel company). I did not escalate issues to Stuart (not sure of his role but think it's mentioned by one of the ops in an earlier thread). What I did decide to do was after being told by CW that they couldn't do anything for me was to contact the actual travel company (Thomas Cook) who in the first incident sent me a standard letter full of mistakes and incorrect facts which I was totally suprised at. When I suggested to them that they talk to the actual hotel management as they had already made the effort to get in touch with me and apologise and recognised that events that took place on site where not how they would have liked them to be handled, I then received a letter from a manager at TC (Thomas Cook) and I was touched and appreciative with how they handled things going forward. The lesson for me going forward is based on my experience with CW is to never book with them ever again, and also that I should have just contacted TC in the first place. I am very disappointed in CW, and for them to post on a public site after the event is unfortunately a little too late. I wished they had shown this level of care when I had contacted them in the first instance. I did try to get a resolution from them for months before I gave up as I was feeling too stressed and upset to deal with them any longer due to the cold way their team handled the matter. Perhaps if I had contacted Stuart this would have had a different experience however this is still again a reflection of the staff he has in place.
Was reluctant to resurrect an old thread but have just only seen this and did want to say that the only reason I didn't go into the exact details as it's something that was awful for me and I'm trying to get past but as it did involve security teams and police it's not your everyday complaint and also to say thanks for all your kind advise as it's appreciated.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
