If you feel confident enough you can get repair kits for about £10 - I used this on the OH's car and it worked fine.0

Well seeing as you haven't stated what car you have, nor what window is giving the problem, do you really expect to be given the right answer when you have provided f*** all in the way of info?hi my electric window cable has snapped is this what i need to replace it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/02-CITROEN-XSARA-PICASSO-2-0-HDI-NSF-WINDOW-MOTOR-/280592360968?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item41549ba608

hi all i havent got a clue what i need thats why i posted the ebay link.if some one could be so kind to give me some pointers on what to buy it would be great.

That ebay link just says it's for the motor, even though the picture is of the motor and regulator. If the cable has snapped, you should only need the regulator. This this the bit which has two metal supports which the cable is affixed to, and snakes around in a loop driven by the motor to lift and lower the window.
have a look on euro car parts website or give them a ring and see if they sell the winder regulator. Then get your garage to fit it.0 -
thanks all i now know what to get.
