TT Transfer

Hi,

I am after some advice regarding TT money transfers (I believe its also known as wire transfer).

I would like to order some items from China and have been in discussion with the company for about a month now. I am now required to send an initial fee to cover mould making costs.

They have informed me that the money (about £250) needs to be transferd via TT.
My question is how safe is this type of transfer? If something was to go completely wrong, is there a way to claim money back?

I am currently with Natwest, and the bank the money would transfer to is HSBC Hong Kong.

The company name is:
Dongli Xingsheng Plastic Co,.Ltd
Website can be found by googling name.

They seem legit and ok from what I can see, but I do not want to risk transfering money and never seeing anything for it. There site also states they are A&V checked and audited.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

There is no way at all to call back a TT Transfer. Its used widely as a method of fraud for this very reason. To recover the funds you would have to trust they would refund you or be prepared to sue them and hope you win (but this is a very long process and is further complicated by them being in another country.).
