Ipad screen frozen

Hi, my screen has frozen on my ipad, I left it switched off over night and have recharged it this morning but it's still frozen, has anyone any suggestions.

Does your computer recognise it? If so, try a reset via iTunes.

Thanks for your replies, I clicked the link and phoned support. It was as simple as pressing the power button and the one at the bottom of the screen together, holding until the apple logo appears and then release the buttons and wait until it resets itself. It may help someone else in the future, thanks again
