Hi
does any one know if persimmon homes have a specific criteria for their part exchange plus scheme?
also does anyone know if you can combine the Part Exchange and Helping hand schemes?
we have just had enough of our current money pit and we are having no luck selling in the current climate
thanks

Hi Ben,
This is straight from the part exhange plus part of Persimmons website...
"In order for a property to qualify for Part Exchange Plus the value of your property cannot exceed £250,000 and can be no more than 70% of the purchase price of the new property. If this 30% differential exists you will complete a Reservation Agreement and a Part Exchange Plus Enquiry Form with our Sales Adviser. An agreed reservation fee is paid at this stage."
I would say its 95% certain you wouldnt be able to have this in conjunction with any other offer of scheme Persimmon has but you could check with the sales advisor to be certain0 -

all houses are money pits....It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
aye but some more then others... especially this one, its better at money taking then my wife and shes an expert haha0
