Are there any?
As a 61-year-old woman, I have regular smear tests and mammograms. I have also had a bowel cancer test which was sent through the post.
I was wondering if there was anything similar for men? My husband is 62 and physically fit, and has also had the postal bowel cancer test, but there does not appear to be anything else for men.
Does anyone know of anything else?

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Just send him off to the drs to check. Men in general never tend to go to the drs unless they are really ill or their other half sends them! Good idea to have a general MOT...Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

NHS Health Checks - for those aged 40 to 74 (male or female) who are not already recorded by their GP as having kidney or heart disease, suffered a stroke, or being diabetic. See here http://www.nhs.uk/Planners/NHSHealthCheck/Pages/NHSHealthCheck.aspx0

Men can ask to test their PSA levels to see if they have any signs of prostate cancer. My husband did as his cousin died of prostate cancer. It was slightly raised and is now monitored every year with a blood test.0

Bowel screening includes males. Also England is rolling out aortic aneurysm scans for males in their 65th year.

there doesn't seem to be anything available for the years inbetween the two links above.:)I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.
There are two words in the English language that have all five vowels in order: 'abstemious' and ' facetious.'0
