Which section of the forum are you going to?

I only see images2 when looking at the source code for the site. If the above doesn't work try clearing temporary internet files aswell as you could be loading a cached copy.

oops my mistake it is images2, not sure how I clear temporary interent files. I'm using Windows 7.

As for adding no script I found before that I was allowing most sites so didn't really find it useful unless I was doing something wrong (sorry)

Scroll down to HOW TO BLOCK ALL IMAGES
The red arrow part should be TICKED
look in EXCEPTIONS to see if its blocked (My mum mangaged to block some images using firefox, took me ages to figure it out. Thanks mum :p)

Try using a portable version of Firefox, and see if you have the same problems:
    http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

You can delete if afterwards. If the portable version doesn't have any problems, then it's either your installation of Firefox or something in the profile that is causing trouble. If the portable version does have trouble, then it's something to do with your system or your connection.

I get the same issue on either Chrome or Safari on my Mac or Chrome and IE on my Windows 7 box. Exactly the same point is hanging.
