Baxi Boiler Problem - Help?

Hi All,
Have a problem with my baxi bahama 100 boiler. It kept shutting itself down with pressure falling to zero, Called out my regular plumber and he couldn't find the problem, he asked me for the manual (which I've lost).
So I did a bit of googling and found that this is a common fault - passed on the info to my plumber (expansion filler tank needed replacing).
Plumber has replaced this tank and now it won't work AT ALL!
Plumber has advised me to contact Baxi for one of their engineers. But they charge £450 for a repair!
Any ideas? I might as well buy a new boiler rather than spend that sort of money.
Hope somebody can point me in the right direction!

Hi
Seems like you have a pile of junk. Just googled and seen the item below.
I think you might be better getting a new boiler Lot's of threads on the site about that!

You need someone who knows what they are doing to go through the boiler and find out why it doesn't work . Could spend a long time here finding out what it is.
Good luck.

Went through the troubleshooting guide in the manual and it looks as if one of the circuit boards may have burned out0 -
Hi ascollen
If someone came out and found it to be the P.C.B. then you are looking at £91 to £106 depending on the type of board plus VAT
