Free Internet TV, including Premiership Matches

This is one for all you teccies out there, I remember seeing somewhere on here before people listing web sites that let you watch the TV on your PC for free. I have been trying to find the threads but have had no luck so far! Can anyone help me out?

I have XP media centre version too, will i be able to watch these programmes using the media centre or just through the Internet Explorer? What do people recommend is the best program/hardware to use to watch freeview using XP MC?

Also, I remember reading about certain websites (I think they're Chinese/Japanese based) that let you watch all premiership footie matches for free over the net? Does anyone know what these sites are and if they're okay to watch, or is this a legal moot point? Any of you MSE's watch these on-line? I cant always get to a pub to make the matches and watching at home would be perfect!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks ;)

    Free Internet TV; http://www.holersoft.net/tv.htm

Have no idea about Premiership football.

For Freeview, you just need the appropriate PC card. Take a look at ebuyer or similar.

  • Thanks guys, I wondered if they may have been a legal issue, but I have heard so much about it in the news that I wondered if it were illegal yet, or if they were looking to make it that way!

Anyway, good advise, i'll get looking for a PC Card, just have to find, and fit!

Copyright law in the UK is pretty all encompassing so it would be more a case of these things being illegal and then making them legal. E.g. under the copyright act it is still illegal to rip cds to mp3.
