I have simply got to have a rant about HSBC or I'll burst!!!!
They make millions of pounds a year profit, spend heaven knows how much money on TV advertising, and yet our local branch has cut back so much on staff, that there is now 1 on the till except on Monday morning, when there are 2 working (for the first hour only).
The queue of customers stretches half way down the street before they open (which is always 2 or 3 minutes after the appointed time) and then, once the door's open, you can be waiting for ages especially if you're behind someone paying in weekly takings for a business.
They have taken regular staff off and sent them out to smaller branches to work, which annoys them as well as us (the customer) to such an extent that I know of 2 members of staff who've handed in their notice.
I have written to their Head Office but they're not interested in the fact that their cusomers may have better things to do than wait on the one very busy member of staff having time to deal with me.
Sadly I feel that voting with your feet doesn't work with such an enormous organisation such as this - they wouldn't miss little old me, or even a hundred others like me!

I let my mind wander and it never came back!

We're about to commence action to recoup loan charges against HSBC - their customer service is abyssmal and in a nutshell HSBC comes across as not knowing its botty from its funny bone.Integrity is a dying art!:p0

The HSBC bank where I live is terrible at the beginning of the month, and who is in the queue? People paying their council tax, and they are the ones whinging that the place is so packed, can someone not explain direct debits to them, even my old ma (72) uses Direct Debit, alot safer than walking the streets with council tax money in your pocket/purse. HSBC charge non customers for some items, perhaps if they did this with council tax then perhaps the q's would be shorter. And yes the lady in the avatar is me

The really annoying thing is when they then shut an overcrowded branch citing underuse.
