I have an EGG card and now that they have changed over to Barclays will I be able to transfer a balance from my exisitng EGG card to a new Barclaycard?

I imagine that Barclaycard won't want you to be able to do this. It depends if they already have their systems set up to prevent it.:)Hi All,

Can I transfer a balance from my Egg credit card to my Barclaycard?
No. As Egg's credit card accounts are now owned by Barclaycard, we are unable to transfer balances between your accounts. However, we can process any other balance transfers you may have.

So the answer is no then .You can continue to use your card as normal in accordance with the terms and conditions on your account. Your accounts will be maintained separately for now, with the exception of the balance transfer process as you will not be able to transfer balances between both cards. Should this change, Barclaycard will write to you to confirm any changes.0
