My sisters MIL would red line the engine reversing out of the driveway. Explains why she got through 2 clutches
in 8000 miles.
I feel sorry for the garage who replaced the 1st one FOC after i had words with them. They told her they inspect
the clutches before selling them. I phoned and told them rubbish.
Not had the car long and if you dont i will have to make complaints.
When she needed a 2nd clutch though i said no chance.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Knowing your sister's MIL and her driveway, who could blame her for that?forgotmyname wrote: »My sisters MIL would red line the engine reversing out of the driveway.

Supposedly only affects the Corsa 1.2 though. Different engine, different pistons, different camshaft.
We shouldn't confuse the issue, this car has been driven extremely hard by one or more of the previous drivers and some jumped up clueless admin clerk doesn't see that damage can be done without it actually being a problem for quite some time. It's black and white (tickbox thinking) where everything either happens or doesn't happen, no in betweens.
Like people who argue blind that their cars tyre's are legal because it passed the MOT 3 months ago and couldn't have suddenly worn down.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
